Sunrise Angkor Wat

Up at 4am this morning so we could get the sunrise at Angkor Wat. We all got ready within 5 mintues as we slept a little too long! Our Batmobile (we had a tuktuk with batman logo all over it!) was thankfully waiting outside our hostel when we went there. We felt like we were the only people up. Angkor Wat was amazing. You could walk around the whole thing which was so cool. After the main one our tuktuk took us for breakfast at 6.30. We then went to masses of other crazily amazing temples. Masses of movies have been filmed around them. You can see what a good setting it is. The new transformers that is coming out was filmed at one of them. I went all the way to the top of one of the temples the other 2 stayed in the tuktuk as they couldn't be bothered. The steps were so so narrow and very steep. If it was in the UK it wouldn't be allowed because of health and safety. My favourite temple was Ta Prohm with all the crazy trees growing over the temples. It was quite airy walking around them all. At one of the temples a monkey came and followed me around. The others laughed as they know I love them and I got a little too excited! The others temples that I can remember the names off are Angkor Thom and Bayon. We got back at 10am.
For supper I had a Khmer roasted duck curry. The best curry I have had so far.
