Renovations?

I thought the house martins, having inspected the property back on 10th May, had decided it was just too damaged to be worth restoring, as we haven't seen them since.  But today they were back.  I believe you can get a grant to renovate derelict property in Ireland.  The house martins would probably qualify for it.  And despite the very poor state of this property, today there seemed to be two pairs competing for it.  I missed getting a photo of all four birds perched there, shouting loudly at each other.  Here you can see one who looks as though it could be shouting at another flying past to "just f.....ing leave us alone!"

Renovation progress seems very slow.

I had a session on the exercise bike, and a session folding and ironing clean clothes.  W did some work on the raised beds, and repotted a couple of house plants.
