Bert's short vacation

There goes Bert. On the way for a short cycling holiday not far from home. Berg en Terblijt, a village about 10 kilometers from our village, is the base of the annual Heuvelland4days this week. Cyclists can travel various routes with different distances for 4 days.

On a whim, Bert said some time ago that it might be fun to participate. I thought he was joking, but responded seriously and suggested that he could take my 1-person tent to go camping so he wouldn't have to cycle the extra 20 kilometres to and from Berg en Terblijt every day. Et voilá, a plan was born.

He texted me after his first ride when he had set up the tent. He's doing well :-)
