She Ain't Heavy, She's My Wife
A male robber fly mating with and carrying his mate who is feasting on the nuptial gift of a fly that he has presented her with. Off he flew with them both.
I got a distant shot of a 1944 North American Harvard. (Extras) These were used as training planes by the RAF and later as chase planes and photo mounts. Wonder if it's off to the D-Day 80 commemorations.
I noticed some 'foxtail' grass in my nomowsummer lawn in front of the kitchen window. I knew that there was some in the large aluminium block of disused glasshouses but wasn't aware that it was in the garden. I like the look of this wall barley and didn't know until recently how dangerous its barbed seeds are for dogs. They burrow through the skin into the body and can even cause death. So no mow kitchen lawn had to go. The old Husqvarna ride-on coped well. I did one pass on high cut then lots of waltzing passes on medium.
