Drat

A measly £25 win on the Premium Bonds this morning, but better than nothing (which is what A got!) I suppose!
So glad I went out on the bike yesterday, it was quite a lot colder and certainly windier today, although luckily still bright most of the time. I was pleased to miss the couple of afternoon rain showers when I popped to the shops later.
Spent the day mainly indoors, doing some executor stuff, planning with VG, and tracking down some documents I’d lost. The trouble with having homeswap guests is I put stuff I want to keep safe and out of the way in various ‘obvious’ places that I then forget when I get home again! Anyway, I did eventually find the documents so can get on with some domestic admin now. Did a bit of ironing and cleaning, and as I wiped the kitchen shelf I knocked one of my wobbly blue handmade glass tumblers off and it smashed on the worktop….damn!
Walked over to meet CMB at Soderberg at the end of the day and as always we rabbited on about everything we’ve done since we last met, house sales, the American Deep South, trashy TV, MoMA adventures and general gossip. Dashed home and R came for supper…risotto and salad then the last of the clementine cake whilst we chatted about all the usual topics and what we have coming up over the next couple of months.
Watched the Sewing Bee before bed….still very light after 10.30pm.
