Sunset behind Southshore and Shag Rock

A walk on the beach on the way home, after a trip into town, seemed just right. Late afternoon, the clouds over the estuary were dramatic, the light was wonderful, so I grabbed the camera and set off to see what I could see. It was utterly beautiful. Wonderful billowing clouds in all directions, all reflected in the wet sand, and the light gradually getting more and more golden as the sun sank lower. Here's the result . . . . .

The alternative were images I'd already taken, of men at work on the roads. I think that this one wins hands down!
