Rainy Day

At least it started off as that (although it did brighten up in the afternoon) and much cooler than it’s been over the last few days.
I was supposed to drive up to Costco with a fellow parishioner (to buy food for the First Communions this weekend) but that was postponed and Mr P and I walked to the Hydro instead and had a gym session, followed by a swim. We were both tired out after it and once we’d walked back home and had a late lunch, fell asleep!
Book Group tonight. It was We All Want Impossible Things by Catherine Newman. Most of us enjoyed it to a greater or lesser degree. Back home to light the first fire in our new woodburner.
