Annual perfume

These peonies do not last very long but when in full bloom produce a lovely perfume.

Meetings at church, hair cut, shopping, paperwork, checking on the house of friends who are away, avoiding the candidates’ debate, then out to the airport for midnight to collect our son returning from Barcelona. At 7oC it was a shock to the system!
