Day 4: Index Card a Day (ICAD)

June 1 - July 31, I'm taking a little time every day to draw/doodle and make some marks on an index card. It's for a creative challenge that happens every year hosted by Tammy at Daisy Yellow Art. 

I enjoy this challenge because it's a simple way to start and continue a daily creative habit, much like Blipfoto. That's always is beneficial! I feel better, it's calming to do and it keeps me on my toes. Plus it's fun! You can follow prompts, or not. You can work on any size index card or even a Rolodex card. You are free to chose. 

This year I decided to do mark making and patterns. Not my usual go-to of collage, paint or fabric. I just wanted to do something different and portable as we will be traveling in July. You can view my previous years ICADs on my website!
