She ain't what she used to be..

Many years ago this bridge was heavily used On the other side of the river was a saw mill and the side I was on was a paper mill. The saw mill closed over 40 years ago. The bridge closed over 30 years ago. As for the paper mill? Importing paper from China is cheaper than trying to bring the mill up to environmental standards. Several years ago it closed and laid off many living wage jobs.


A fairly good day at work. Still learning the little things about this job. I am finding out the I am enjoying the challenges the job has. I just had to let go of the way things should be and accept things the way they are. Not easy for me.
