Arbroath

What a lovely day we had in sunny Arbroath.

Stopped off in Dundee to Eh9 on the Perth Road for a coffee and then parked up at the harbour at Arbroath and walked to the Signal House museum which was excellent and dog friendly. Learned so much about the Bell Rock Lighthouse and the Signal House. What an excellent museum and such friendly two ladies working there and Lucca got a treat.

After a walk along the harbour side we stopped at the Brewhouse for some food before walking along the coastal path. We didn’t walk all the way too far but something to keep in mind for the future.

Walked back a different route but still coastal. Was amazed at the number of memorial benches along the route and very handy for sitting enjoying the sea views.

It was time for an ice cream. We found a place at the harbour and then a sit down to enjoy it.

We had a nice day out in Arbroath. The town centre is quite run down but the harbour side and walk plus the museum and Abbey (which we didn’t visit) are all very good.

Another lovely day weather wise long may it last!
