Not the countryside

It’s actually the central reservation of a huge trafficy dual carriageway by the station. I see the lovely range of wild flowers while waiting (ages) for the green crossing light. Then I snap this really fast, barely pausing, while being swept across the road in a crowd of people heading for offices. Which is why it’s not a good photo, apologies. But kudos to the council for spreading wild flower seed on roundabouts and other patches of green in the city road network.
A good morning at Fareshare - very busy, so I hardly had time to think. It’s a sad day, though as it’s my son and dil’s wedding anniversary. I had a video call with some cousins later.  I wasn’t going to tell them, but one asked me why I looked so awful! They’re quite frank.  So I ended up saying a bit. I remember when he was nine he broke his collarbone - and for months I had a terrible pain in my collarbone.  This time it’s in my heart.
