A Winter Scene

Well if truth be told I haven't used my fireplace for ages and I was a bit worried about whether the chimney would be OK after not being used.  I will admit to getting a face full of smoke for my effort but the wine was nice.  Thanks for hosting Steveng.

I had Maggy to the vet this morning.  She has had an upset tummy, or rather the lower bits which wasn't being fixed on a diet of chicken and rice.  A diagnosis of collitis was made which was reassuring to me that it wasn't anything more serious.  I discovered she had eaten one of Pi's toys shortly before the onset of her condition but the vet didn't think anything was blocked.   I had already got the probiotic/clay mixture yesterday and started her on that and the only other thing is she is now on a course of antibiotics.  While this has been going on for at least 10 days, she has been eating and drinking well and seems as happy as larry.  Except for the downstairs part.   Fingers crossed the antibiotics and probiotics combined will now start to do the trick.
