Broken Dreams

This is the culprit of me getting stranded on my way back from Manchester… Got the gearbox off today (which is my least favourite job in this car - it just doesn’t come out any logical way!)
I was worried what I might find… first it was little shards of metal… then bigger pieces of plating… eeek… so dived into the clutch and found this little thing completely sheared off from the rest of itself… everything else looks absolutely fine! So £97 later a new clutch plate is on its way…couple of days from now I should be able to report good car-related news!
