A walk on the coast

We travelled to Seaton Sluice on the east coast this morning for our walk. It was a fine day with lots of sun and blue skies. The wind was a nuisance, but much better than rain.

We did a 7 mile circular walk that included the cliff tops, St Mary's Island and an inland route that included lovely woods.

Here we are crossing to the island where we had our coffee break.  There were a good number of seals on the rocks, waiting for the tide to come in.

As I arrived home there was a very heavy shower and I had to wait before I could feed the birds. They are now fed and happy (I assume)!
