Hawks head YHA with school

Kayaking on and in Windermere, then shelter building and orienteering this afternoon. This evening was a form of torture involving midges (I had to correct a few mispronunciation - midgets!!) a catapult challenge, campfire, marshmallows and hot chocolate.
We battled through but it was dire!
