Bug-Porn

No joy hunting scorpion flies yet again but did encounter several of these weevils on the nettles.  Mostly boring.  Ugly green beetle on a green leaf - who wants to see that?  But then I spotted these two in action which raised the interest quotient above the blipworthy threshold.

For the curious, these are green nettle weevils, Phyllobius pomaceus, a common type of short-nosed weevil most usually seen on stinging-nettle leaves.
