Ballinskelligs Bay
It was a scorcher in West Kerry.
There was a big gang of us down in Ballinskelligs for the weekend - me, my Mum, two of my brothers, one with his wife and two smallies, my aunt and uncle, their daughter, her husband, and their two kids.
We hit the beach and the kids went wild, digging holes, building sandcastles, burying Uncle Chris, playing hurling, and just running around and having fun. I even went for a quick swim, though the water was quite cold. All of the adults, too preoccupied with putting suncream on the children, got sunburned ourselves.
It was a perfect summer's day!
