Batt droppings

This afternoon my friend Jane invited me over to play with the Guild drum carder. Jane is something of a whiz at this and quickly produced a masterpiece of burgundy, teal and silver grey fibre. She's a really good teacher and encouraged me to throw more colours in than I would have thought would work and I've ended up with two gorgeous batts. All the while we had a really good chat plus coffee and cake. Thanks, Jane!
