Wednesday: St John’s Anglican Cathedral

I was up in Belize City this afternoon for the unveiling of the theme of Belize’s 43rd Independence Day celebrations in September.  I was discussing with my driver on the way up that options were becoming limited.  Having had themes like: ‘valiant and true’, ‘strong and free’, etc, there really wasn’t a lot to choose from.  Anyway, the theme this year is ‘proud and free’…..

I went out tonight for a few drinks with S (ex-Corkers) which was very pleasant.  It was also quite nice to get out and socialize a bit.
