Miyajima and Hiroshima

The Torii Gate at Miyajima Shrine looks stunning even on a grey day. Miyajima is also known for its tame deer. The first extra has it all - gate, deer and lots of tourists! The temple has a good collection of sake jars which I have made into a typology (second extra).

The afternoon in Hiroshima was emotional. It’s impossible to summarise so here are some glimpses (third extra) of memorials and our small offering of paper cranes.
