Icy Morning

It was a bitterly cold morning and Jake and I practically ran around the usual circuit. My eyes were watering and my nose was running and I found out later it was minus 1 or 2 in many places in town and some country towns were minus 5 bbrrrrrr!!!!

I took some bread for the ducks and they didn't seem to be around when we got there but I thought I'd quickly throw the bread over the fence anyway.

I proceeded to break up the bread and throw it up high and suddenly two local ducks came zooming down to me from the other end of the lake, cold and hungry I guess and very quick to eat up all the bread.

If I had of been organised with my camera instead of the bread it would have been a great shot and if my hands weren't frozen I could have actually taken that good shot :))
