Overdue!

I pulled an older pair ( though still very smart) shoes from the wardrobe last week and wore them down to the bach, stopping at the supermarket en route. As we walked along the aisles I thought something felt odd and to my horror, realised that the soles were completely disintegrating!!
Keep calm and carry on I thought, however on arriving at the bach there was no other option but the rubbish bin and awkwardly,unlike my usual habit of bringing several pairs of shoes,I had only these broken remnants!
On returning home I pulled all my shoes from the wardrobe and had a thorough sort out!!
