Seilebost, Isle Of Harris

An early departure from our hotel this morning in order to drive to Berneray for the ferry to Leverburgh. Beautiful, sunny and very windy for the crossing.

The drive from Leverburgh was simply stunning and grand. I am smitten already. Very different from the Uists. The drive to our hotel in Tarbert took much longer than predicted owing to the frequent stops for photographs.   We had lunch in Tarbert, did a bit of shopping, and are now ensconced in our hotel ready for the next few days.

Remembering with love and gratitude those who made the ultimate sacrifice all those years ago.
