Grey Heron

There were 9 Heron today although only 7 were eating. The seven were the 5 from yesterday along with the male with the dark patch and Jekyll. There were also two confused chicks who didn't know what was going on but hung around. A big step forward. They all had a good feed then it was round to the clearing. Before I got there I was stopped early by the adult coot. I gave her some fish and she made straight for the chicks. Some of the chicks are coming straight to me for fish others prefer to be given it from the adults. The heron had followed me round so I fed them what was left.
