Sunny but still chilly. I meant to go food shopping  but put it off till tomorrow and lay around reading only moving to take delivery of lip salve, eau de cologne, two cushion pads and two pairs of trousers. What I'm really keen to see are the cushion covers. I hope the colours are true to how they were online. It's always a bit of a lottery. A little bit of gardening got done but not much.  The rose in my crab apple tree has just begun to flower but it's so windy I had to cut off a blossom and bring it indoors to photograph it.  It was planted after seeing a rose in a tree at Sissinghurst
