Kirsi's First Bowl

Kirsi has been doing a ceramics course recently as part of her foundation course in fine art. Just one more session to go. This is her first offering. A beautiful glazed fruit dish which hopefully you can see has been decorated while still wet with leaves which were pressed into the clay leaving impressions behind before final firing.
With any luck at all I should have a really spectacular piece to show you next week when it comes out of the kiln.
Sorry if I misled some folk. This dish has indeed been fired. It's the next item which is being fired now and which if all goes well ought to be spectacular.
