Sandford Park, Cheltenham

We popped to the Science Festival for a fascinating talk on "unlocking your microbiome" by Dr James Kinross. Fascinating subject, we have bought his book "Dark Matter".
We then had a lovely meal out in Cheltenhsm and I took this shot on the way back to the car.
I watched a lot of the D-Day commemorations today. It was all very moving and amazing to hear the veterans' stories. Thank goodness their words have been captured. It also made me think about my own Dad and his war time experiences. I must gather together all his memorabilia and the stories I can remember and make sure it is preserved for my niece and nephew.
