Medicine pole

Afternoon appt at Chilliwack hospital for a blood test and spotted this wood carving sculpture by Simon Charlie. He has quite a few carvings around the area.
Parking at the hospital is a nightmare, I thought it might be quicker to park elsewhere and get a taxi there but I lucked out and found a spot a mere 5 minute walk away.
I did show up for the appt an hour early hoping they would get me iin quicker, the ploy worked, in and out in 30 minutes or less.
Home for a caesar salad and smoked salmon. (Note to self, eat more smoked salmon).
