This wet period has been a nuisance for some and caused trouble for many, with quite a few coastal areas experiencing flooding. But one plant that must love it is this common reed  Phragmites australis (I think!). It's invasive, happy anywhere wet or swampy.. I really like its feathery, drooping heads.
