Beneath the Trees….

Maisie and I walked very early as usual. Later in the morning I raked leaves and half-filled two wool sacks. Before lunch, friend Cathie drove me to the hospital where I had an appointment at the “Eye Institute”. I had tests and scans of my eyes in preparation for future cataract surgery. I can’t wait for that surgery as my sight has been deteriorating quite rapidly. I walked home from the hospital after side-tracking to the Taylor River Reserve.. It is a pretty walk in the winter sunshine.
