Beauty is all around us.

Hunter our tom cat.

The Feast Day of The Sacred Heart of Jesus.
The early morning was a lovely sunny start, but then it grew cold and rained and the chilly wind was a strong feature. I have been for two short walks. There is a front garden being tarmaced up the road and the men have been busy doing that all week. Their vehicles are on the pavement and it is a messy, noisy
process. They were steam rolling the garden area today. I past it to get to the shop. I always feel sad when a garden is lost to concrete and tarmac. Green spaces are needed for the beauty of the neighbourhood and for the wildlife. Still, we have many lovely gardens in the Close where we live and each evening some primary school children enjoy playing football there. Hunter loves to watch from his cat climbing frame.

I heard sad news yesterday. An elderly second cousin, Rosemary, has passed. Bless her soul. She was gentle natured and socially alone much of her later years. Another second cousin has been through a very testing time after a major operation and has carers 3 times a day to help her. Prayers for her too.

Paul has gone to the Garden Centre to buy some trellisses for the jasmines I am waiting in to receive, if they are delivered today. These are from Amazon, so they are a secure purchase. Thank you all who sympathised about the Seasalt scam site. It was a mean trick and years ago another dress that was not delivered, was one from a Cath Kidston so called sale. Well I will hopefully avoid these sites from now on.

I hope the weather stops being so turbulent and changeable.
Have a good day blip friends and thanks for visiting my site.
