A Not-so-Busy Bee

Another emergency blip..and more back-blipping..

Whilst resting on my bird-watching chair on the deck, I spied this bee on a branch beside me... Behold! a Blip has fallen into my lap! Having my camera with me of course, I started snapping and noticed the bee had moved only once - brought his front leg down to his side... otherwise, motionless. Weird...I left him as he was, but later in the day discovered him dead in the garden.. I assumed it was he...as how many dying bees would there be out there? So sad....

Today is my friend and neighbour Elaine's 53rd wedding anniversary! Wow... 53 years! and all soft them spent next door to me! How old are we anyway? How young we were back then...
