A Clematis for Flower Friday
Well, the funeral we went to on Wednesday was for the husband of one of Gill's painting friends, Sonia, and she gave Gill this clematis which is called 'Forever Friends'. She does need a few friends at the moment as she is in the midst of all of that pension/probate/accounts in whose name furore and her family life is not simple.
One of her painting commissions here, along with Bertie (in the extras) Bertie now has dementia but thankfully he was ok to sit with me while Gill helped Sonia with a dress needing alteration.
On a more positive note, Gill's surgeon saw her earlier this week and showed her the results of her valve replacement which are all really good, and, the AF turned out to be temporary so she can drop one of the drugs she was taking. Arythmia clinic next so hopefully she can taper off the other drugs too.
and - if you have read this far - well done.
