Rose (Day 3315)
This morning I was back to a bathroom re-fit I am doing bits of. The wet wall has all been done by a joiner and today I moved some pipes around and got the vanity units for the toilet and basin in place. The cistern for the toilet was a bear to fit and it took ages to get it to stop leaking. Exactly the same cistern yesterday was fitted in five minutes. I eventually got it all sorted out and, after fitting the shower, headed off to the next job. I will get back to it when the joiner has cut the worktop for the basin.
Next job was removing an old wash basin from a bedroom and capping off the pipework. Reasonably straightforward apart from finding somewhere to park.
I finished off the day replacing a kitchen tap. The customer had bought their own tap from IKEA, and as is always the case it was a pain to fit.
Back to Mum's to hear how my beautiful wife got on with a vet visit to George and to snap a quick pic of a rose.
