Called in to the GP

It’s never good when you get called by your GP surgery to come in that day to discuss your blood test results. I only had the blood test on Tuesday!

Turns out I have dangerously low levels of B12 and folate. Explains why I am constantly exhausted and probably goes a long way to explaining the decline in my mental health recently.

My liver is also not working at its best. My GP suspects that I probably have gallstones. I’ve been referred for a scan to see if anything can be seen. I guess if I do have them then it will be taken out.

Stressful day today. What sort of sadist schedules are core GCSE subject exam for a Friday afternoon? No invigilator wants to work a Friday afternoon so it was a bit of a Tetris game making sure each room was within the ratios!
