Friday something

Faced with a glut of rhubarb there really was no option but to pulp it and add sugar and water and a bit of yeast. Too much yeast actually. It's been going mental and the heat's not helping.

Water news: much time was spent looking for signs of escaping water and trying to track down the heating guy who installed the underfloor heating. No water was found. The plumber seems to have dropped off the face of the earth. A phone call with the underfloor heating manufacturer identified a valve that isolates the underfloor heating. If there's a leak there, it's now isolated from the boiler so repressurising the system should work. It doesn't.

This moves the problem to the radiators but if that was leaking you'd expect lots of water somewhere and no pressure in the radiators but there's no water and opening the bleed valve in the radiator reveals pressure - hissing air - but no water.

The mystery continues.
