London day

A trip to London for a celebratory lunch. The train service both ways was uneventful (phew.....) and the day was a great opportunity to meet up with past colleagues. My blip is Paddington station as I made my way to board the train home.
I’ve included as an extra a social blip and a reminder of something we see every day in larger cities:  people having to sleep rough. I remember the 80’s when this sight was commonplace and it saddens me that it has returned and that we have just come to accept as normal. It is undoubtedly  a complex problem to resolve but one that we as a compassionate society should not turn our back on. It is NOT a lifestyle choice but a failure of our society.
