Drop The Dead Donkey
Another latish blip, but it's been a very productive day.
- gas delivery received
- on to Witney
- gold chain bought for cross pendant which we hope to give to daughter#2 tomorrow
- Waitrose sandwiches for lunch
- on to Cheltenham
- bulk quantity of bird food click and collected
- KFC
- Drop The Dead Donkey: The Reawakening! at The Everyman
We really enjoyed the theatre. It was a bit disappointing that an understudy came in for one of the original cast but it was all very well done, and very topical. They must add new bits all the time to keep up to date with events.
We were in the gods/balcony (extra) but it was OK. Being so high up it was interesting watching people down below taking similar photos of the stage. They were all, 100%, taking portrait photos. I've noticed before that most people taking phone shots do this. Maybe only people who also use cameras seem to realise you can turn the phone around and take a landscape shot?
As I mentioned we hope to pop down to London tomorrow for a flying visit to see daughter#2 who should be on her way back to Germany from Edinburgh where she has been to see Taylor Swift. The plan is for her to stay in daughter#1's house in Wapping, but daughter#1 won't be there as they have gone up north to Salford to see The Lancashire Hotpots.
