Lost And Found

A rude awakening this morning.

A lovely lady from the next village was on her way to work and stopped to rescue this tiny terrier from being squished.  The little dog was running loose along a busy main road and the lady stopped her car and fortunately the dog was friendly, and readily came to be picked up and whisked to safety.

And brought to our house, principally to see if we knew who it belonged to....

Guess who volunteered to take the dog off her hands and try to reunite it with it's owner ..so the lady could be relieved of the problem and carry on with her journey...

Long story short, dog was reunited with owner who confessed 'she is always getting out and being brought back by strangers....'

Oh dear...never mind, good deed for the day done and all's well that ends well...sort of...
