Embroidery Sampler

C, one of the women in our knitting group, tries her hand at an amazing array of projects. This is her foray into very intricate embroidery. Each of the ninety circles in this piece showcases complicated stitches in various combinations. There are animals, insects, flowers, faces, objects and abstracts, which can all be seen better in the enlarged version. To give you a sense of scale, each disk is about an inch across. It took her a very long time to complete.
