Summer on the Stour

A really beautiful summer's day, blue skies and warm breezes all round, so when I went for a stroll at lunchtime it was not hard to find seasonal subjects for my blip. I found this shot in Kingsmead, looking along the River Stour towards the centre of Canterbury. There was a gentle haze to the air which caught the sunlight and the foliage, lushly overgrown along the banks, positively glowed. Afterwards, it was time to buy some sushi for lunch and then head back to work for a bit.
