Remembrance Service for organ and tissue donors

Choir performance this afternoon at the 2024 Gold Coast Remembrance Service - in recognition of organ and tissue donors and families who make the transplantation possible. It was a moving service with music (we sang) and speakers from organ recipients as well as family of donors. Recipients included a kidney recipient is now a healthy 15 years old young boy and a 83 years old who had a heart transplant 30 years ago. Family of donors included a wife spoke about her police husband who was shot dead  in-line of duty.
