The view

I slept very well. After breakfast it was in Aphrodite to the market at Kolymbari, the honey place, ,(pomegranate raki) and the winery where the 8 of us did more than taste the wine and the accompanying salad. 

Back at the hotel it was the pool until time to get ready for cocktails and dinner. I sat with the Americans and we discussed travel and politics. Later there was Greek dancing and I managed to end giving Scottish genealogy advice to a couple of folk. I didn't dance but went upstairs to continue my own research.

To the left of the picture is the airfield where the1941 invasion of Crete started.
