It's Abstract Thursday!

This is Thursday

Today there is no particular theme for AT, set by our regular  host Ingeborg, as it is the first Thursday of a new month.  My image today is of the lovely beach dress bought for me by daughter #2: it is not this colour of course but has been put through Copista, 'Checked'.
I usually post the day after, photos taken on the correct day, but this week was extra busy so I've had to try and catch up.
This Thursday was of course the 80th anniversary of D Day.  We managed to watch snippets of television coverage and listen to radio coverage.  The veterans who are still with us are in their late nineties and even over 100 and what remarkable people they are.  Sadly they will not be with us for the 90th anniversary so we need to mark their remarkable deeds and thank them now.
