Over the sea to Skye
Today we drove around the east coast of Harris. Far less frequented and we saw few cars. The scenery was very different from the sandy beaches on the western side of the island. This is the view from Lingerbay looking towards Skye (just about visible in the horizon). We stopped at Skoon
Gallery for coffee and then proceeded on through Rodel and Leverburgh and then completed the circuit along the western side of the island. On our return to Tarbert we spotted a Golden eagle - magnificent.
Last night we had an excellent meal at Scarista House. Fabulous food and views. Thanks, F, for recommendation.
