Oldest man in Victoria Square!

Today we went on the Clifton and Hotwell annual open gardens tour and our first stop was this eloquent , informative , amusing gentleman who talked about his upbringing 100 years ago.

His talk covered the creation of the regency/victorian build history , the private garden , its foliage and residents, and the famous and infamous who have live here including those commemorated on the plaques which adorn many of the houses here……and the disappeared plaques of those have recently been considered un woke. So very modern history as well!
