Pier of the Year

A rainy start to the day but by 1pm it had sort of cleared and we took the chance to walk over the cliff path to Overstrand. There was another shower whilst we were having a drink at the White Lion, good timing! Then the sun came out and we walked back along the beach to Cromer where there was a 1960s event on the pier (Britain’s Pier of the Year 2024). Very British seaside atmosphere… we had ice cream and then another drink at the Red Lion (Britain’s rural pub of the year 2024) and back along the cliff to our dwelling.
