Birthday Bikes!

Mum and I love riding our bikes together and there's always added adventure when there's a train ride involved...so with that in mind, I plotted a route and devised a plan to incorporate all those things on a birthday (day late!) ride for her and I.

We took the train to Settle before pedalling our way through Long Preston, Hellifield, Airton, Hetton, Cracoe which are all beautiful and offer lovely views.

From Cracoe it was into Burnsall, over to Appletreewick, through Greenhow and into Harrogate. The roads rolling and blustery, offering some sunshine to take the edge of the at times nippy temperatures.

The views as you move from the Yorkshire Dales into Nidderdale are a joy, and it really was a grand day out!
