Mutual admiration

Today we visited a pub nearby which has a great garden with a play park and animals. They sell little bags of tiny pellets of food for the goats and ducks with the proceeds going to charity. Our 2 grandsons spent ages feeding the goats as well as admiring the rabbits and canaries. We followed this up with a tea for the boys and coffee and cake for the grown ups before a walk in their tiny woodland wildlife area. Altogether a grand outing. It's good to see the place busy. They struggled during lockdown and survived by turning the pub into a click and collect grocery shop.
